Getting to see Megan and Johnny tie the knot at Thorndale Oaks was so special and a tearjerker for sure!
I’ve known these two since high school before they first met, I first met Megan at a mutual
friends Christmas party, we baked sugar cookies as I got to know her fun and quirky self.
I met Johnny in acting class he always got the part of the kings or any man with a loud booming
voice, although off the stage he was a lot quieter and calmer. They balance each other out perfectly in their
personalities. This wedding is also so special to me since it’s the first wedding I’ve captured
where I knew the Bride and Groom wayyy before getting to shoot their wedding!
The day ran so smoothly, their ceremony only lasted 13 minutes and we were way ahead of schedule.
Even better the weather originally called for rain and instead, God blessed us with sunshine and clear skies!
Johnny and Megan first met through their homeschool group for their graduation. Johnny
was interested in Megan at first sight whereas Megan was completely oblivious to his
advances. Megan’s mom was the first to point him out to Megan while they took their class
group photos of 2016. Her mom thought to herself “Oh, wait a minute it looks like he
likes Megan!” when expressing this to Megan, Megan thought she was crazy but not
long after graduating Johnny asked Megan out on a date and the rest is history 🙂
Megan’s mom has been an active part of helping with their wedding day. With Megan
being her only daughter she wanted to get to plan her only girl’s wedding knowing
she wouldn’t get another chance. Megan is a laidback and hand’s off kinda gal so before
her mother could even insist she had already handed over the reins
for her mom to take hold, with only one request: hire me!

Megan’s parents surprised them with a getaway limo!
It was so fun to see their faces light up at the realization that the limo was there for them!
